CCMA Exam

Organized by the Canadian Chinese Music Association, the program is supported by professional musicians from leading academic institutions across North America. In partnership with YC Academy—the only institution in Canada authorized to grant academic credentials in Chinese music—the program offers a comprehensive grading curriculum specifically designed to reflect the unique characteristics of Chinese music education in North America. Esteemed Chinese music instructors from renowned universities and conservatories in both North America and China serve as adjudicators and advisors, ensuring the highest standards of excellence and authenticity.

The in-person exam will take place this December at the University of Toronto. All participating students will have the opportunity to perform on a professional theater stage alongside musician instructors. Outstanding performers may be awarded special scholarships.
